Thru-Hardening Tempering

S&P Heat Treating has the capabilities of Thur-Hardening tempering steel at our state of the art facility. This is a process similar to other hardening techniques, which changes the molecular structure of the metal being heated to change its characteristics. A number of different temperatures are used in this process to achieve the desired hardness. It is important that your product is accurately tempered to assure the quality is not compromised.
